NFL Punishes Chiefs Star Right Before Titans Game
The NFL punished a Chiefs star right before the Titans game.
Last week in the team’s divisional round showdown against the Houston Texans, Kansas City offensive lineman Eric Fisher celebrated a touchdown in pretty epic fashion.
The 306-pounder ran over to a group of Chiefs fans in the front row, grabbed two beers, and went to town.
Everyone loved it.
Everyone except the NFL, that is.
This week, the league announced it was fining the Chiefs star $14,037 as a penalty for the excessive celebration.

Unfortunately for Fisher, he doesn’t have much time to stew over it or fight the league on this. He has bigger fish to fry.
On Sunday, the Chiefs taking on the Tennessee Titans in an AFC Championship Game showdown for a spot in the Super Bowl.
If his team wins that, this fine will likely seem like small potatoes. If the Chiefs lose, it will essentially be adding insult to injury.
Neither the Chiefs nor Fisher have commented on the league’s decision up to this point.
