Zion Williamson Falls Asleep On Pelicans Bench Again

Zion Williamson fell asleep on the Pelicans bench again on Saturday.

New Orleans games have not been all that fun this year outside of Brandon Ingram occasionally going supernova.

As such, you cannot really blame people for getting bored at the outings.

One person who has repeatedly gotten bored at them has been the Pelicans’ number one overall draft pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Williamson has been nursing an injury all season long, but he is slated to return on January 22. In the mean time, he is relegated to watching his team play from the sidelines.

Last Monday, when his squad took on the Detroit Pistons, Williamson went viral on the team bench as he very clearly dozed off midway through.

Everyone laughed, obviously, but mostly considered it a one-off freak occurrence and forgot about it.

Less than a week later, the same thing occurred once again.

During New Orleans’ showdown with the Los Angeles Clippers, Williamson was once again spotted falling asleep part of the way through the second quarter.

Fortunately, the former Duke star will not have to endure games from the sidelines for much longer.

With his debut scheduled for less than a week, Williamson will soon be participating in the outings rather than simply falling asleep to them.
