Cowboys Issue Surprising Dak Prescott Injury Update

The Cowboys issued a surprising Dak Prescott injury update on Wednesday.

Dallas has arguably its biggest game of the year coming up this weekend in the form of a road game at Lincoln Financial Field against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Currently the team is 7-7 and atop the NFC East, but Philly is right there. Having the head-to-head tiebreaker is going to be absolutely vital to determining who this division sends into the playoffs.

Unfortunately, it looks like the Cowboys won’t be going into the game at full strength.

According to Todd Archer of ESPN, Prescott was listed as limited in practice on Wednesday with an injury to his throwing shoulder.

Prescott is in the midst of a career-best year. So far this season, he has recorded 26 touchdowns and 4,334 yards. And he has achieved those totals on a career-low 18 sacks.

A victory against the eagles would clinch the division title for the Cowboys, but Prescott playing well will be absolutely essential.

Will Prescott ultimately be able to power through and secure a playoff spot for his squad?

We will find out for certain come this weekend.
