Wife Of Notre Dame Legend Manti Te'o, Jovi, Goes Viral
Notre Dame legend Manti Te’o has one of the most unique stories in college football history.
As a member of the Fighting Irish, Manti Te’o was a unanimous All-American, Maxwell Award winner, Lott Trophy winner, Chuck Bednarik Award winner, Walter Camp Award winner, Bronko Nagurski Trophy winner, Butkus Award winner and Lombardi Award winner.
In addition, for a brief period of time, he was also considered a very legitimate Heisman candidate.
Unfortunately, the thing that Manti Teโo will forever be known for is an infamous catfishing scheme that rocked the sports world and eventually transcended into the general pop culture zeitgeist.
Even though Manti Teโo went on to have a decent, seven-year NFL career โ he was never able to shed the specter of that catfishing incident.
One thing that many didnโt realize about Manti Teโo is that he is actually married now. He married his wife, Jovi Nicole Engbino, in La Jolla, California on August 29, 2020. The pair have been together ever since.
This week, after a documentary on Manti Teโo came out, Jovi went viral.
As did these Instagram photos of her:

Big picture, hopefully the entire Teโo family will one day be able to move past this catfishing situation.
As more and more details emerge, it is becoming increasingly clear that what happened wasnโt Manti Teโoโs fault.
Now that’s how you prepare for a Super Bowl season. https://t.co/QI03wP0rZv

Will he ever be able to get the peace he deserves after the trials and tribulations he went through?
One can only hope.
