Video Of Every Bryce Young Dropback From Panthers Game Goes Viral

A video of every single Bryce Young dropback from this week’s NFL preseason game between the Carolina Panthers and New York Giants went viral this week.

New York ultimately emerged from the outing with a two-point, 21-19 win – but that wasn’t the main story of the day.

Rather, what everyone couldn’t stop talking about after the fact was how rough of a game the No. 1 overall pick from this year’s draft, Young, looked.

A video showing each of Young’s dropbacks set the internet ablaze shortly thereafter.

NFL fans are a knowledgeable bunch. They know that Young has an awful offensive line protecting him and not a ton in the way of weapons.

That said, even they couldn’t hold back when they saw this performance.

Big picture, there is a reason why Young’s wild photo with Mina Kimes went so viral before the draft.

His height may not prevent him from having a good pro career, but so far it isn’t helping him much either.

Moreover, there is a reason why every quarterback on Carolina’s roster struggled last year. This squad, as presently constructed, isn’t very good.

That too will not help Young’s development.

In 2022-23 the Panthers generated about as many headlines for their fans taking weird videos of the team’s cheerleaders as they did for any substantive football accomplishments.

It doesn’t look like 2023-24 will be much different.

Will Young be able to right the ship in Carolina and restore the Panthers to some semblance of respectability? Maybe, but if this week’s preseason game was any indication, it won’t happen overnight.
