Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has had himself quite the offseason.
Not only did the multiple-time NFL MVP lose his best wide receiver on the field to the Las Vegas Raiders, but he also lost his fiancée off it.
How is Rodgers coping with all of that? In peculiar fashion.
This week, Rodgers debuted his first ever tattoo. It largely speaks for itself:

As do the reactions to it:
People talking shit on this tattoo design probably have something way more bad ass like tribal barbed wire around their bicep.
Also Aaron Rodgers is a tool bag https://t.co/9dDPnxpitT

. @Brett_A_Taylor to @lcm1986 in a text earlier: It’s been a while since Aaron Rodgers did/said something weird.

lot of people mocking this tattoo but they won’t be laughing when he’s lost in the wilderness and can still conjoin the alchemical Rebis without the Mutus Liber https://t.co/ZNx0mCKi4e

Big picture, this has been a crazy few months for Rodgers. Between his break-up with actress Shailene Woodley, the fact that she got over with him by making out with an A-list female Hollywood star, and then his weird new female friend – it has been one thing after another with him.
He has been in the headlines nonstop.
And things haven’t fared much for Rodgers as far as football matters go. Losing Davante Adams was a huge blow. It didn’t take long for the real reason why the talented wide receiver wanted out to emerge.
Rodgers’ response to the whole ordeal speaks for itself, too.
Andrew Wiggins is still celebrating like a champ. https://t.co/g23mjuaEah

This is going to be a big season for Rodgers and the Packers. If he leads them to the Super Bowl or somewhere in that general proximity, his overall weirdness will largely be forgiven.
But if he doesn’t – expect for the criticism to only intensify from here.
