The Los Angeles Rams acquiring Matthew Stafford from the Detroit Lions this past offseason proved to be a turning point for the organization.

Jared Goff had taken this unit as far as it could go, and if the offense wanted to progress any further, a more elite passer needed to be added into the mix.

Matthew Stafford proved to be that elite passer. His 72 percent completion percentage, 905 yards, six touchdowns, and one pick in the postseason speaks for itself. As does the fact that Cooper Kupp is coming off a career year that saw him record 145 receptions, 1,947 yards and 16 receiving scores — all NFL highs.

While his on-the-field heroics have no doubt been impressive, it’s worth also remembering that a large part of why he is so calm under pressure is because of his off-the-field rock: his wife, Kelly.

This week, Kelly went mega-viral at the Super Bowl. The photos largely speak for themselves:

In addition, Kelly also blew up for an incredible story she told about who she dated in college to make her now-husband jealous:

Kelly’s emotional reaction to her beau reaching the Super Bowl speaks for itself. She is as loyal and supportive of a spouse as you will ever see in the NFL. And it’s nice that both she and Matthew get to enjoy this moment. They have definitely experienced some trials and tribulations leading up to this point.

No matter what happens on Sunday, both Matthew and Kelly can go home content knowing that their incredible union is a Super Bowl victory in itself.
