The Dallas Cowboys defeated the New England Patriots 35-29 on Sunday afternoon.
With the game on the line, quarterback Dak Prescott found wide receiver CeeDee Lamb for a 35-yard touchdown in OT. It was a beauty:

By any objective measure, it was an impressive effort by the winning side that saw them improve their record to 5-1 on the year – far and away the best mark in the NFC East.
Hilariously enough, though – that wasn’t what everyone was talking about on Monday. Rather, what truly captivated the internet following Dallas’ big win was an awkward exchange between Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and his son:

This has been an interesting NFL season. Between Jackson Mahomes dancing on Sean Taylor’s memorial, Terry Bradshaw getting canceled over his comments regarding Erin Andrews’ outfit, and Urban Meyer doing Urban Meyer things – the off-the-field storylines have almost been more fascinating than the on-the-field ones in 2021.
In keeping with all, that this Jerry Jones story is just par for the course.
The real reason Coach O is being forced out of LSU. https://t.co/cuFHeeDqp4
