Did Giants Cheat In Loss To Washington Football Team? (Video)
The Washington Football Team claimed victory over the New York Giants on Thursday night 30-29.
While the game was somewhat entertaining, it was also highlighted far more by New York’s ineptness than the Washington Football Team’s superior talent.
The Giants lost this one more than WFT won it.
One particular play that caused something of an uproar occurred with a minute and a half remaining in the second quarter. New York was up three and had the defensive unit on the field.
Washington Football Team running back J.D. McKissic got the ball and attempted to rush forward. He immediately slipped or tripped or something – falling down in the process.
What followed was such an egregious error that even Mike Pereira couldn’t bite his tongue.
This might be the worst replay review I’ve ever seen. Even Mike Pereira was disgusted pic.twitter.com/x5y68pDbE0

The Washington Football Team would go on to score and then win the game by one.
Needless to say, a lot of folks weren’t happy.
I’ve always known that the NFL is rigged but man, officials just don’t give a fuck anymore about making it obvious. https://t.co/qZKulyiKGN

This official should lose his job and house. Possibly face jail time https://t.co/ojYqRz39fd

There’s always horrible calls but this literally did not include another player. This was a simple simple easy call a 4-5 yr old could of got. I don’t think this should be let off the hook either. Its NOT the usual real terrible call. It was “did anyone touch him”.. Nope.

Tf??????? How do you make this call after that review? https://t.co/YTN7oDC8sm

that call was bad, but at least there was something to be interpreted. there’s nothing here: he isn’t touched at all, they looked at it and still didn’t overturn the call.

We have seen some egregious stuff over the past couple of weeks in football. Oregon was accused of cheating in its big win over Ohio State; a ref who didn’t realize he was mic’d up seemingly made up a call during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Week 1 victory over the Dallas Cowboys; and eagle-eyed fans noticed something odd in Tom Brady’s ear during his most recent outing.
But this one takes the cake.
Dak Prescott stays winning. https://t.co/WN2voiN8k7

Will the NFL acknowledge their mistake and pledge to do better going forward? Time will tell.
