Cardinals Coach Kliff Kingsbury’s GF Deals With Chiefs Loss (Photos)

Arizona Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury watched his team fall in embarrassing fashion to the Kansas City Chiefs last weekend in both teams’ regular season opener.

Losing to Patrick Mahomes when he throws for five touchdowns, 360 yards and zero interceptions isn’t awful in itself. That can be explained away. What is bad, however, is that the Cardinals were a mess in that outing from start to finish.

Beginning with the Chiefs getting off to a 7-0 lead on the first drive of the game and ending with their last score in the fourth quarter – they dominated Arizona’s defense.

It will be interesting to see how Kingsbury ultimately deals with last weekend’s showing and subsequently bounces back. What is a matter of public record, however, is how his girlfriend Veronica Bielik is dealing with it.

Bielik’s photos largely speak for themselves:

This isn’t the first time in recent months Bielik has blown up in this fashion. Ironically, she and Kingsbury also went viral this summer for their presence at Mahomes’ wedding.

Beyond that, the pair set the internet ablaze for their wild vacation photos and provocative “personal” imagery.

Bielik’s general Instagram content also tends to leave quite the impression. There is a reason why she has more than 3.4 million followers on the platform.

The Cardinals gave Kingsbury a big extension this summer. They did the same with quarterback Kyler Murray and his new $230.5 million deal. In both cases, the hope was to stabilize the franchise and begin building towards Super Bowl contention.

Getting blown out by the Chiefs doesn’t leave a great impression.

It will be interesting to see how the Cardinals fare against the Las Vegas Raiders this week. That will be a true litmus test for where the organization stands.

If Kingsbury and Murray bounce back and go into Week 3’s Los Angeles Rams showdown with some momentum, Week 1’s disappointment will be forgotten.

Should that not happen, though — expect for the scrutiny surrounding the Cardinals’ core and the money that was doled out this summer to only intensify from here.
