Lamar Jackson Called For Dirty Play During Titans Game
Lamar Jackson was called for a dirty play during the Titans game on Saturday.
Baltimore got off to a very poor start in their showdown against Tennessee.
On the opening drive of the day, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson threw an uncharacteristic interception. The ball was supposed to go to Mark Andrews, but it was tipped out of his hands and picked off by Kevin Byard.
As Byard began returning the ball the other way, Jackson went over to tackle him.
In the process, he went too high and got called for a horse collar penalty.

According to CBS rules expert Gene Steratore, the horse collar penalty should not have been called because he didn’t see Jackson dig under Byard’s pads for the tackle.
Nevertheless, the officials disagreed.
Viewers at home were split on whether Jackson’s hit was a dirty one or not. Some suggested it was, but others were not so sure.
