ESPN Releases Final Chiefs-49ers Super Bowl Prediction

ESPN released its final Chiefs-49ers Super Bowl Prediction on Sunday morning.

With Super Bowl LIV set to kick off later in the day, it would be the last prognostication offered.

ESPN recently developed a computer model that allowed them to predict the outcome of looming football games. The accuracy of the model varies, but it gets better each time it is used.

According to the model, Kansas City has a 64.8 percent chance of emerging from Sunday’s outing victorious.

This is roughly in line with what most seem to be expecting.

The Chiefs are a small favorite heading into the big game, with most sports books listing them as 1-point to 1.5-point favorites.

Early on, the majority of the money coming in on the Super Bowl was placed on Kansas City.

That has evened out a bit in recent days, but most bettors are still putting their cash down on Patrick Mahomes and Co.

San Francisco comes into this showdown after having defeated the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Divisional Round and the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game.

Kansas City, meanwhile, beat the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional Round and the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Championship Game.

Stylistically, this is a pretty classic match-up. It pits arguably the NFL’s best defense in the Niners versus probably the league’s best offense in the Chiefs.

The game is set to kick off at 3:30 pm PT from the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Which team will ultimately emerge victorious? We’re just a few hours away from getting our answer.
