Chargers Officially Say Goodbye To Philip Rivers
The Chargers are officially saying to goodbye to Philip Rivers.
After 16 years together, Rivers and the organization will be going their separate ways.
Fox Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer appeared on The Herd with Colin Cowherd on Monday and confirmed the news.
“The Chargers moved on from Philip Rivers,” he said.

The update should not come as a surprise to anyone who has followed the Chargers over the past few months.
Team management has indicated in more ways than one that they are in the market for someone new.
This is due to a couple of reasons.
One, the Chargers did not experience the sort of success many expected from them before the year began. Some had LA as dark horse Super Bowl contenders.
The other big problem has been Rivers’ refusal to acclimate to the Los Angeles market. He resisted moving his family out to LA and opted to commute from his old home instead.
The 38-year-old threw for 4,615 yards and 23 scores in 2019. He also got picked off 20 times.
Los Angeles has been connected to possibly signing Tom Brady if he does not return to the New England Patriots.
If that does not work out, the organization is reportedly looking to move up in the draft.
