Cardinals Issue Surprising Kyler Murray Health Update
The Cardinals issued a surprising Kyler Murray health update on Monday.
Murray, 22, experienced a minor hamstring pull during Sunday’s road victory against the Seattle Seahawks.
Arizona ended up winning the game despite that setback 27-13, thanks in large part to the 20-7 lead Murray led the team to before getting hurt.
#AZCardinals QB Kyler Murray’s MRI on his hamstring revealed nothing alarming, sources say. Just a regular, minor hamstring pull. It’ll be wait-and-see on his availability this week, with coach Kliff Kingsbury saying earlier if he’s healthy, he’ll go.

If were some reason Murray were not able to play next week against the LA Rams, Brett Hundley would get the nod as starter. However, it does not look like that will be the case.
Murray was selected by Arizona with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Quietly the young star has put together a campaign worthy of Offensive Rookie of the Year. To date he has completed 64.6 percent of his passes for 18 scores and 3,397 yards.
At the moment, Murray is a mere 20 passing yards away from having the 10th most passing yards in a single year in Cardinals history.
After their big win against Seattle, the Cardinals now sit at 5-9-1 on the season.
