Brett Favre Gets Brutally Honest About Cowboys, Dak Prescott

Brett Favre gets brutally honest about the Cowboys and Dak Prescott in a recent interview.

This past Sunday Dallas fell in dramatic fashion to the Philadelphia Eagles. Had the Cowboys won that game, a playoff berth would have been secured in the process.

Unfortunately, now they have to hope and pray for an Eagles screw up just to have a shot at the postseason.

Prescott in particular had a rough game against Philly. He threw for 265 yards and no scores on 25-of-44 passing for the day.

This week, Favre appeared on his SiriusXM NFL radio show and had an interesting take on Prescott’s troubles.

“In pro football you cannot be second-guessing yourself during a game,” he said.

“I wonder if that’s what Dak is going through. If you are in that frame of mind during the game where you’re second-guessing and a little apprehensive bad things are going to happen.

“I feel like that’s where Dak is right now. He’s not able to control his accuracy like he normally would.”

Favre also pointed to an abandonment of the run game too early in the outing as a big reason for Dallas’ issues. Prescott was forced to shoulder a heavier load as a result of Ezekiel Elliot not getting more touches.

  1. How about dem Cowboys hiring Uncle Brett as qb coach? Can’t tell me Jerry Jones hasn’t thought of #4 developing his #4, and the potential spark it could provide the organization overall. Ultimate Gunslinger, Cowboys coach? Cmon man, do I have to think of everything, Mr. Jones?

  2. Dak doesn’t trust his coaching aka Jason Garrett that game plan having him pass 41 times and run 14 when Zeke was healthy and was having Success! He saw what happen to Romo! Jason’s Garrett 10 year journey needs to end to many inconsistent seasons, no player or scheme developmemt just clapping!

  3. The cowboys need to tighten up, the way they look now the skins could have injured players and still beat cowboys. They SHOULD OF BEAT EAGLES NO QUESTION! FIRE THE COACH . And stop playing hurt players we have another qb use him . My 13 year old daughter was calling plays they should of done , just don’t understand why they keep doing same play over and over .people catch on . Switch it up or something . How frustrating!!!!!
