Browns Lose Defensive Player Ahead Of Ravens Game

The Browns lost a defensive player ahead of the Ravens game.

On Saturday, Cleveland announced that the team was making some drastic changes on the defensive side of the ball.

According to the team, defensive tackle Brandin Bryant was being waived to make room for defensive end Robert McCray from the practice squad.

Bryant, 26, has put up two tackles in four games played this year. Last week, he played 10 snaps versus the Arizona Cardinals.

McCray, 23, is a first-year player out of the University of Indiana. He was originally brought onboard by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018 and was a member of their practice squad. This season, he has spent three weeks on Cleveland’s practice squad.

Last week, the Browns gave up 445 yards of offense to Arizona in a 38-24 defeat.

This week, Cleveland is set to take on a ferocious Baltimore offense that has been giving fits to everyone and anyone that gets in front of it.

The Browns are currently 6-8 through 14 games and don’t have much to play for at this point. Best case scenario for them now is just building up some momentum that they can hopefully carry over into next season.
