Bill Belichick showed up to a virtual press conference on Wednesday morning looking like an absolute mess.
Fresh on the heels of a disappointing loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Belichick faced off against the media in a ripped up shirt, sporting disheveled hair, and looking like he had not slept in days.
Naturally, Twitter had some opinions on this.

Bill Belichick has to live alone during football season. Because no wife is letting this sweatshirt survive. She’s throwing it away and when you ask about it claiming it must have gotten lost in the wash. pic.twitter.com/uvOAeznLe4

On Sunday, the Patriots fell to Seattle 35-30.
With one play left in the game, quarterback Cam Newton attempted to drive the ball into the endzone and got absolutely stuffed by the Seahawks defense.
Linebacker Bobby Wagner and safety Jamal Adams read the play from start to finish.

“That ball’s going right,” Adams said after the game, simply repeating what Wagner told the defense in the huddle prior to the final play.
“That ball was going straight right.”
It was Wagner who lined L.J. Collier up at right defensive back and put him in position to make the stop.
This is quickly reaching the point of no return. https://t.co/ynGS96ZHJC

“They were running the same thing all game,” Collier said after the fact.
“Bobby came to us before that and said they were going to run the same play and that we were going to slant on it just to go with it. I really just followed my captain and went with him and we came up with a big-time play. So really, credit to [defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr.], Bobby and the rest of the defense.”
Next up for Belichick and the Patriots will be a showdown against the 2-0 Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. A win there and things will return to normal. A loss, and Belichick may turn up at next week’s press conference with no shirt on at all.
