Aaron Rodgers made headlines not long ago when he participated in a long and far-reaching interview with Joe Rogan.
The Green Bay Packers quarterback dropped a number of gems during the back-and-forth, but one in particular that stood out was his admission to playing games on Percocet.
Among other things, Aaron Rodgers said that he’s played games on Percocet before, which he later admitted was a bad idea.pic.twitter.com/qRXPUqpGok

“[I played] on Percocet,” Rodgers said.
“It was more for pain management, so I wasn’t taking any high dosage, but stupid, ultimately.”
On Wednesday, an old interview featuring Rodgers began to circulate. NFL fans seem to intensely believe it shows one of the outings in which he apparently played while on Percocet.

Rodgers has been in the headlines quite a bit this offseason. Between the ‘suspicious’ photos of him that have emerged, his ongoing beef with his own family and his role in the Packers’ decision to trade Davante Adams – it has been one thing after another.
Plus, that is to say nothing of all the weirdness surrounding his new girlfriend or her recent faux pas where she uploaded and then immediately deleted a potentially damaging video.
The photos speak for themselves. https://t.co/8LTLyTsX70

It will be interesting to see how the 2022-23 NFL season goes for Rodgers. If he plays well and gets the Packers to or near the Super Bowl, a lot of his strange summertime behavior will likely be forgotten.
If Green Bay falters, though – expect increased scrutiny on Rodgers’ offseason weirdness and how it may have played a role.
