2020 NFL Mock Draft: Jeff Okudah
Jeff Okudah is widely regarded as the top cornerback available in the looming 2020 NFL Draft.
The question on most people’s mind now is where precisely he will go when all the chips fall.
While appearing on The Herd recently, Greg Cosell suggested that Okudah is one of the most valuable players available in this year’s draft.
“The NFL game has very much become a quick passing game,” he said.
“The game itself overall becomes much quicker and the ability to disrupt receivers off the line of scrimmage has become increasingly important which is why man coverage and the ability to play press man has become increasingly important; you can make the argument that a player like Jeff Okudah is more important than Chase Young.”
At that point, he compared Okudah to a 12-time Pro Bowler.
“He kind of reminds me of on tape…the way he played,” he continued.
“He reminds me of Champ Bailey.”
Where will Okudah ultimately end up getting selected? Time will tell.
