NFL Rumors: Browns, Bills, Texans, Dolphins, Eagles, Jets Making Big Moves

The Cleveland Browns have traded a 2020 fifth round pick and a 2020 sixth round pick to the Buffalo Bills for Wyatt Teller.

Cleveland has desperately been looking for a boost at guard and may very well line Teller up at right guard at the beginning of the season against the Tennessee Titans.

Teller was drafted in 2018 by Buffalo and started seven games at left guard for them last year. He did not allow a single sack last season in 476 offensive snaps.

Prior to this move, the Browns had been rotating Austin Corbett, Kyle Kalis and Eric Kush at right guard.

This trade marks what may be the beginning of a busy trade period in the NFL.

All week rumors have been circulating about a potential Jadeveon Clowney trade.

The Bills have been rumored as a possible destination due to the ties between Clowney and Brian Gaine. You will recall, Gaine was a big supporter of Clowney’s before his breakup with the Houston Texans.

If not Buffalo, there are a lot of rumblings that the Miami Dolphins may step up to the plate and make a move for Clowney.

Brian Flores is a defense guy and he could do great things with a stud like Clowney on the roster.

The problem for Miami is that the Texans have indicated they want offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil in any potential trade, and that appears to be a no-go on Miami’s side.

Miami is unlikely to be able to land Clowney if all they offer up is Devante Parker and spare parts.

The Philadelphia Eagles are another team that has been linked to Clowney. Houston badly needs offensive line support for Deshaun Watson, so if Howie Roseman can put something together that offers the Texans some protection, there could be a deal to be had there.

Finally, the New York Jets are another dark horse contender for Clowney’s services. It remains to be seen if they can put together a package tantalizing enough for Houston to bite, though.
