Stanford star Cameron Brink is having a better 2023-24 college basketball season than the sport’s biggest star, Caitlin Clark.
While Clark is the one who has been in the most headlines, the stats show that Brink is actually the superior player.
So far this year, Brink is averaging 18.7 points per on game on 59 percent shooting from the field. She is also chipping in 10.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per outing.
In addition to all that, her advanced stats are off the charts:
Here’s the updated WBB analytics comparison for the NPOY candidates I featured. So awful about Rori Harmon’s season-ending injury. Cameron Brink’s analytics rankings are even more impressive now. Dark green across the board. https://t.co/FlmgZSpQzi pic.twitter.com/lOrk6PFdGo

Brink also has quite the presence on social media. Her wild photos frequently go viral:

In a week where college sports headlines have been dominated by a Michigan cheerleader’s whose wild photos leaked out and Michael Penix Jr.’s girlfriend’s racy snaps, Brink has somehow come along and stolen all the headlines.
It will be interesting to see what she and Stanford can accomplish in 2024.

From where fans are standing – the sky’s the limit.
Is a National Championship in Brink’s short-term future? Time will tell.
