Paige Spiranac Makes A Very Personal Confession
Over the past several years Paige Spiranac has turned into one of the preeminent sports analysts around. She originally started out as just a golf influencer, but amassing more than 3 million followers on Instagram has increased her reach significantly.
As Spiranac’s audience has grown, so has the breadth of her coverage. These days she appears just as comfortable disrespecting Tom Brady as she does giving a strong take on Barry Bonds.
That said – there is one thing Spiranac simply does not want to talk about.
And she delved into that very topic recently.
“I do get this question a lot so I do want to address it. I was married,” Spiranac said. “I am no longer married and if you could just respect my privacy it would mean a lot to me.”
This is obviously a sad bit of news, given how Spiranac previously spoke about her beau.
“I met him at the start of my career, so we have done this entire thing together,” she said back in 2018. “He is so understanding and knows this is a business for me. He will say, ‘Hey, show a little more cleavage.’”
During a recent episode of her Playing A Round podcast, Spiranac explained why she preferred not to talk about her personal life.
“I think a lot of people think I don’t talk about it because of my business, and if I say that I’m with someone or I’m married, then I’ll lose male followers, and that’s actually not the case,” Spiranac said.
“I am so open and honest about everything in my life, as you guys can tell from the podcast, that I want something to myself, and having a public relationship is very difficult, and as soon as you make it public, you’re giving everyone the right to ask questions and you have to then answer them.”
For Spiranac, it’s just a matter of not wanting to broach a topic that she doesn’t want to have to then elaborate on.
“If I do post about it, and I end up breaking up with that person, I then have to talk about the break-up cause I owe that to everyone because I made my relationship public,” Spiranac said.
“Also, it’s just people tend to get involved, and I don’t like that. When a big milestone has happened in my life, it’s always turned into something that is not joyous anymore because people comment on it and they turn it into something that’s it not, and so I just want to leave my relationship and my family and things that are really, really, really important to me out of it.”
Spiranac is one of the biggest names in all of sports media right now. Whether she is explaining why she only takes photos from the front, posting her racy photos or offering her controversial opinions on men gazing at her chest – she always finds a reason to go viral.

For better or worse, Spiranac is a mainstay in the larger sports cultural zeitgeist.
That means news of this sort, regardless of whether it’s positive or negative, will continue to come out for many years to come.
