Nebraska Star Jess Gardner’s Wild Bathroom Photo Sets Internet Ablaze

Nebraska track star Jess Gardner once again set the internet ablaze this week.

Over the past year, as the Huskers’ football program has continued to toil away in mediocrity, Gardner has quietly emerged as one of the school’s most prominent athletes.

Obviously Nebraska is pretty much known exclusively as a “volleyball school” at this point, but its track and field efforts have been quite notable as well.

This week Gardner blew up online once again – this time for her wild bathroom photo.

This obviously isn’t the first time Gardner has set the internet ablaze like this. Between her wild vacation photos, provocative shower video and racy Halloween costume, it has been one thing after another for her. In addition to all that, Gardner’s general social media posts are always a huge hit as well.

Nebraska going out and hiring Matt Rhule this past year was supposed to signal a turning point for the football program. Relevance and success was supposed to follow.

So how did that end up working out for the school? It has been something of a mixed bag. The Huskers are 5-4 on the year – but have looked better in the second half of the season than the first.

Either way, it is clear that they are still pretty far away from being competitive in any legitimate way.

What does that mean for the rest of the school’s sports programs? It means that stars like Gardner, who are the faces of athletics that typically don’t get a ton of attention, can continue to shine for a little while longer.

What will Gardner make headlines for next? Time will tell.
