LSU Offers Important Health Update Before Clemson Game
LSU offered an important health update before the Clemson game.
Running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire will play on Monday night, barring some sort of crazy setback.
Edwards-Helaire suffered a hamstring injury before LSU’s Peach Bowl showdown against Oklahoma. As a result, he saw limited action in the blowout and has essentially been rehabbing this entire time.
On Saturday, LSU head coach Ed Orgeron provided some clarity on his young running back’s status heading into the title game.

According to Orgeron, Edwards-Helaire is at 100 percent right now and will not be limited in any capacity.
Edwards-Helaire has been a key piece of LSU’s tremendous offensive play this year. On the season, he has recorded 1,304 rushing yards and 17 total scores.
While Joe Burrow has gotten most of the fanfare, Edwards-Helaire consistently provides his quarterback with the sort of support necessary for a championship-level offense.
Getting him back at full strength will be absolutely huge for LSU’s title aspirations.
Will it be enough to put them over the top against Clemson? We’re about 72 hours away from find out.
