Zion Williamson has been one of the best players in the NBA so far this season.
Not only has he been playing well from an individual standpoint, but he also has the New Orleans Pelicans one game back of the top seed in the Western Conference.
And that is with Brandon Ingram being injured for a large portion of the year.
Coming into the league Williamson was hyped as a generational talent on par with the likes of Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan.
Recently, Williamson decided to take the comparisons one step further by debuting a signature new look that honored the GOAT.

Fans absolutely loved it.
“Even got the Kangol Hat,” one fan wrote.
“While also being an MJ athlete, sensational vibes,” another fan added.
“Young buck imitating Greatness,” a third person chipped in.
Jordan’s swag is off the charts. Always has been. Only he can get away with being as handsy as he was with Mary J. Blige at last year’s All-Star Game. But Williamson is certainly on his way.
Between Williamson’s taste in music and his undeniable charm with the ladies the Pelicans big man has a certain flavor to him that he hasn’t gotten enough credit for to date.

All that being said, Williamson needs to keep doing what he is doing on the basketball court. That is where everything starts.
When he entered the NBA out of Duke, the hope was that Williamson would be able to take the Pelicans to new heights. Every season up until this one has been a disappointment, but he is finally showing the brilliance everyone expected out of him from the jump.
Will 2023 be the year when Williamson makes his mark in the postseason and establishes himself as the biggest star in the league today? An answer should emerge soon enough.
