Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson is in he midst of a very tough NBA Finals match-up against the Boston Celtics.
He struggled mightily in the first two outings, has only scored above 20 points once in four games thus far, and has yet to shoot above 43 percent from the field.
Fortunately, Thompson isn’t one to let a few bad games deter him. He will keep shooting and shooting until he makes it. And he doesn’t just live by that rule on the court. He applies it off the court as well.
Apparently, Thompson now has his eye on Kayla Nicole, the ex-girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
According to Sideaction, Thompson “has been following and unfollowing Kayla, which is a technique used to get someone’s attention,” and “as of now” he “is following Kayla Nicole.”
To be sure, a quick inspection of Thompson’s Instagram confirms that Nicole is in fact one of the just 1,029 people he has chosen to follow:
So what does this mean? Is a fresh romance blossoming? Time will tell.
Nicole is actually no stranger to making headlines herself. Between her recent split from Kelce (and the role Cam Newton played in it) and her provocative Instagram posts, she is always going viral for one reason or another.

The same holds true for Thompson. When you consider his creative way of getting Malika Andrews’ attention recently, him getting photographed coming out of a shindig with not one, but two girls, and his “private” pics with a former lady friend being leaked — the man seems to land in the news over women a lot.
This is just par for the course.

Will Thompson ultimately win a championship this year and then subsequently win Nicole’s heart?
Time will tell.
