Photos between Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson and a woman leaked out this week. It is unclear whether the photos were supposed to be DMs that got posted to the wrong place or if something else was at work here.

Social media drama notwithstanding, Thompson is currently on the mend and recovering from a torn right Achilles tendon.
He suffered the injury several weeks back and had surgery on it on Nov. 25.
Thompson missed all of the 2019-20 NBA season after tearing the ACL in his left knee during Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors.
Golden State hoped that Thompson, who has spent more than a year on the shelf recovering from that injury, would come back at full strength for the 2020-21 season. Obviously that will not happen.

“There’s definitely a hole with Klay not being there. There’s a hole in the lineup and there’s a hole in our hearts, just because he’s such a huge part of who we are,” team head coach Steve Kerr said.
“And [Thompson, Curry and Green] really are the core of this whole thing — what’s been built here over the last seven or eight years. That part is gonna be really tough for Steph and Draymond to get past. It’ll be hard for all of us to get past, but we have no choice but to do so.”
Thompson signed a five-year, $190 million contract with the Warriors back in 2019 – so clearly all parties involved are very invested in him getting healthy and returning to form.
When will that ultimately happen?
Time will tell.
