Stephen Curry Mercilessly Taunts D’Angelo Russell During Lakers Game

The Golden State Warriors earned a huge 128-121 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers this past weekend.

Needless to say, the win didn’t come without controversy.

Between Golden State getting a 40-second shot clock from officials, Anthony Davis suffering a potentially season-ending eye injury, and LeBron James’ encounter with a pretty courtside fan causing a hubbub, it was one thing after another.

Because so much ended up happening on Saturday night, one of the things that flew under the radar was Stephen Curry mercilessly taunting D’Angelo Russell during the outing.

Shortly thereafter, a video with narration emerged:

Understandably, NBA fans had some strong reactions to Curry’s trash talk for Russell:

Big picture, Russell has been having himself a busy few days.

Mind you he is fresh off a beef with former Lakers teammate Dennis Schroder, too.

Schroder’s latest salvo in their war of words caused something of a stir late last week.

Will Russell’s new, more aggressive demeanor ultimately pay dividends for the Lakers as they try to salvage what is left of their season? Time will tell.
