Nuggets’ Russell Westbrook Takes Another Shot At Lakers
The Denver Nuggets added Russell Westbrook this summer in an effort to shore up their bench.
Almost immediately, he started having issues with one of his new teammates.
This week Westbrook decided to look back on his time with the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers and claim that neither team knew how to use him appropriately.
“To be honest, (my skill-set) was unique, they just didn’t put me in a position to be unique,” he said.

“To be honest, (my skill-set) was unique, they just didn’t put me in position to be unique. I was in a position where I was playing not my position.”

“I was in a position where I was playing not my position. Being able to be here and coach Malone allowing me to be able to use my speed, use my transition skills to make other guys better. It makes the game for everyone else around me and that’s what I love to do best.”
Will the Nuggets figure out a way to utilize Westbrook in the way he wants to be utilized? Time will tell.
