The Golden State Warriors suffered their latest embarrassing loss of the season this week when they fell to the New Orleans Pelicans at home by 36 points.
Stephen Curry had another bad game, putting up 15 points on 4-of-13 shooting, but that isn’t what he ultimately made headlines for after the fact.
Rather, what the greatest shooter in league history went viral for in the aftermath was his postgame press conference.
Specifically, Curry addressed the looming NBA Trade Deadline and what he wanted to see happen there.
Steph was asked about the upcoming trade deadline:

Curry has traditionally been one of the league’s more reserved players when it comes to messing with the roster. Unlike LeBron James, who routinely makes it clear when he is happy or unhappy with the players around him, Curry used to take more of a back seat.
Desperate times call for desperate measures, though. Golden State is 17-20 on the year and resides at the bottom of the Western Conference. Things have gotten so bad that even rivals are trying to help.
Earlier this week, Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George proposed a win-win trade for the Warriors to consider.
At the moment Golden State is being linked to a potentially blockbuster trade – but their refusal to include one key player may blow it up.
The Warriors are also viewed as one of two teams that could swoop in and steal Zach LaVine from the Los Angeles Lakers.
