2 Bojan Bogdanovic Trade Frontrunners Emerge Amid Pistons Rumors

Bojan Bogdanovic is in the midst of a very solid campaign with the Detroit Pistons. He is averaging 20.3 points per game and shooting nearly 40 percent from beyond the arc.

That being said, Bogdanovic is 34 years old and nearing the end of his career.

Detroit is a young team on the come up. It would make sense for all parties involved to go their separate ways.

Multiple teams have expressed interest in Bogdanovic in recent days.

As things presently stand, most odds makers view the Orlando Magic as the frontrunners for Bogdanovic’s services.

A recent report from Jedd Pagaduan of ClutchPoints highlighted why Bogdanovic would be a perfect fit in Orlando.

“At present, the Magic are one of the worst teams in the association when it comes to spacing the floor,” he wrote.

“They are currently 29th in the league in three-pointers made per game (10.5), and that’s with their 25 threes against the Sacramento Kings last night, and they’re 28th in terms of three-point percentage.”

Bogdanovic would solve all those problems.

If not the Magic, though – the Los Angeles Lakers could make a lot of sense for him as well. Clearly L.A. also has spacing issues. Plus, despite spending the last few years bringing in players supposedly known for their marksmanship, they don’t have any reliable three-point shooters either.

Bogdanovic would be a great fit alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

The only question now is whether L.A. has enough in terms of assets to actually make a legitimate offer for Bogdanovic.

Plus, the Lakers are currently being linked to another prominent blockbuster trade. If that comes together – they definitely won’t have the pieces necessary to pull off a deal for Bogdanovic’s.

If it doesn’t – anything is possible.

One way or the other, Bogdanovic doesn’t make a ton of sense on this Pistons team.

It would be prudent for all parties involved to go their separate ways.

Will Detroit pull the trigger on a Bogdanovic deal at some point before the trade deadline? Time will tell.
