Suns Star Devin Booker Reveals His Favorite NBA Team

Devin Booker is one of the most promising young stars in the NBA today.
Because he has been associated so closely with the Phoenix Suns’ resurgence in recent years, many just assume that that’s his favorite NBA franchise.
Not so.
Recently during a session with the media, Booker revealed his surprising favorite NBA team ever.
“As a kid, growing up two hours west, you don’t get the chance to come over here often and watch the Pistons play,” he said.
“So to be able to turn this around and get the opportunity to play against my favorite franchise is good time.”
This isn’t the first time Booker has spoken of his affinity for the Pistons. His favorite player ever also comes from the franchise.
That player?
Rip Hamilton.
“I’ve been preaching for a long time that he’s my favorite player of all time, and I’ve had short conversations with him in the past,” Booker previously said.
“I thought this was the perfect time to talk to him more and get some advice. So he chopped it up with me for a minute, gave me some great feedback and put me in the right mindset to go out there.”
Booker often makes headlines these days for things like his relationship drama with girlfriend Kendall Jenner. Or for being at the center of various groupie accusations and leaks. Because of that it can be easy to forget that he is fresh off his first NBA Finals appearance and seems poised for another.

Last year, Booker came up just short of winning his first ever career title.
Will he right that wrong this season? Time will tell.
