NBA Fans React To Los Angeles Lakers’ New Uniforms
NBA fan reacted to the Los Angeles Lakers’ new uniforms this week after leaked photos of the set went viral.
At one point last year L.A. was the second-worst team in the Western Conference and looked destined to miss the playoffs once again.
Thanks to an NBA Trade Deadline coup that saw the franchise add D’Angelo Russell and Rui Hachimura, however, the Lakers experienced a huge second half turnaround.
By the time the postseason rolled around, Los Angeles was arguably the league’s hottest team and seemed well-positioned to make a run.
Surely enough, the Lakers wound up beating the Memphis Grizzlies and Golden State Warriors in the first two rounds before ultimately running into the eventual champion Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals.
Understandably, there is a ton of excitement surrounding the Lakers heading into the 2023-24 NBA. Because of that, it was huge news this week when the team’s new uniforms leaked out.
The Lakers are rumored to be rocking these jerseys next season.

NBA fans always have a lot to say in general, but when it comes to the Lakers, that rule holds doubly true.
Folks immediately took to social media to react.
The color is cool but I don’t like the placement of the letters on the front https://t.co/ID57fDdsWD

Just wear the deep blue jerseys from 2021 this does not need to be this hard.
I don’t know what market research is leading the league to the conclusion that scrapping nice jerseys after one year just to put out new, uglier ones is a good idea, but it isn’t. https://t.co/c0W0hpvHg2

Uniforms aside, the Lakers have a lot to look forward to next season.
Recent photos show that Anthony Davis has undergone a total body transformation over the last few months.
Between his new physique and him being mentally right thanks to his new contract, Davis may make a run at MVP in 2023-24.
No wonder Canada’s players looked so distracted out there. https://t.co/qcTpzDqzqB

Regardless of how anyone feels about their uniforms, L.A. is going to be fun to watch next season.
Is another NBA championship in the Lakers’ immediate future? An answer one way or the other will emerge soon enough.
