Jaylen Brown’s Awkward Encounter With Josh Giddey Goes Viral
The Oklahoma City Thunder earned an impressive victory over the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night.
Jaylen Brown finished the game with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists for the losing side.
Josh Giddey chipped in 23 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists in 27 minutes of action for OKC.
Despite both men’s play on the court, the one sequence that fans at home couldn’t stop talking about had nothing to do with the game itself.
Rather, NBA fans couldn’t help but notice this awkward exchange between Brown and Giddey:

The insinuation, of course, is that Brown’s iciness is related to the scandal that surrounded Giddey late last year. Essentially, the Thunder guard was accused of inappropriate behavior with a minor. Multiple allegations were made against both him and the girl’s family.
At one point things got so dicey that Giddey’s teammates deleted their controversial posts with him on social media.
Nevertheless, despite all the media hoopla, nothing has actually happened to Giddey yet. And more importantly, the authorities haven’t indicated in any capacity that he is in trouble at all.

That being said, it is important to note that there is no way Brown and Giddey would ever be interested in the same women. The former is literally dating a grandmother right now.
Why was Brown giving Giddey such an intense look despite no legal findings suggesting any wrongdoing on the Thunder star’s part? That is a question that Brown will have to answer for himself.
