Isiah Thomas’ Latest Brutal Message For Michael Jordan
Few rivalries in NBA history have ever matched the intensity of Isiah Thomas’ beef with Michael Jordan.
Starting with their stints as stars of the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls, respectively, and carrying on to their post-playing careers – these two guys do not like one another.
Jordan plays it a bit cooler, refusing to really acknowledge Thomas. But Thomas doesn’t bother playing coy. He puts his cards on the table.
And that is precisely what he did this week.
While making an appearance at the 2022 Abu Dhabi NBA Games, Thomas absolutely went off on his rival.
“When I was watching ‘The Last Dance’, I’m seating there and I’m watching it with my family and I’m thinking everything is good,” Thomas told Eurohoops. “And then this guy [Jordan] comes on television and he says that he hates me and then he calls me an a–hole.
“Then I proceed to watch a whole documentary about him being an a–hole,” Thomas continued. “I’m like, ‘Wait a minute, time-out.’ Until I get a public apology, this beef is gonna go on for a long, long time, cause I’m from the west side of Chicago.”
Yikes.
The bad blood here is very real.
Obviously this isn’t the first time Thomas has popped off like this. He has said some pretty intense things in the past about this Jordan beef. And his take on the Jordan versus LeBron James GOAT debate is telling.
That said, he really took it to a whole new level this week.
In an interview, Jordan revealed the origin of his feud with Thomas. He spoke about it quite frankly and honestly. But he also didn’t seem that peeved over the whole thing.

Thomas does.
Will these two ever be able to bury the hatchet and become acquaintances of some sort?
Time will tell, but it certainly doesn’t look like it.
