Gilbert Arenas Names Best Cheerleaders In NBA

Gilbert Arenas is without question one of the most prolific and charismatic players of his generation.

Although off-the-court controversies and injuries cut his career short in legitimately unfortunate fashion, he definitely made his mark on the league during his prime years.

Since retiring, Arenas has become one of the more outspoken former players around.

Recently, he showed off his propensity for hot takes by naming the best cheerleading squad in the NBA today.

“There’s only a few teams that got good enough cheerleaders that you wanna take serious,” he said.

“You got Miami, Atlanta. No one’s calling a timeout in Utah to look at the dancers. Miami, you’re calling timeouts just to look at the performance. Like, ‘Oh, hold on y’all, timeout, let’s look.’”

Classic Arenas.

Whether he is recalling a memorable Kobe Bryant trash-talking story, revealing that he was homeless at the beginning of his career, offering a bizarre conspiracy theory on the infamous Jordan Poole vs Draymond Green fight from this summer or naming the toughest player he ever guarded – Arenas always keeps it real.

This most recent take on cheerleaders is just the latest example of that.

Arenas’ outspoken nature has made it very easy for him to transition from being a player to being a media personality.

What crazy conversation topics will he ultimately go viral for next?

Time will tell.
