Caitlin Clark’s Reaction To LSU’s Angel Reese Openly Mocking Her
Caitlin Clark watched helplessly as LSU and group of NCAA referees easily defeated her Iowa squad on Sunday afternoon.
The matchup between Iowa and LSU for the National Title was billed as a battle of evenly-matched heavyweights, but in the end the Tigers had little trouble dispatching their competition 102-85.
With the seconds winding down, LSU star Angel Reese openly mocked Clark and Iowa.

The gesture was a callback to a similar move pulled by Clark during her squad’s victory over Louisville.
If it wasn’t “classless” when Caitlin Clark did it, don’t call it classless when Angel Reese does it. Let the women compete, it’s sports!! pic.twitter.com/lJpS1NId68

Fans had mixed reactions to Reese’s move. Some called it classless, while others felt like it was totally fair given the circumstances and Clark’s own actions in the past.
After the game, Clark was asked how she felt about Reese taunting her.
“Clark said she didn’t see Angel Reese taunting her, she was focused on going to the handshake line and being grateful for being in that moment,” college hoops reporter Chad Leistikow tweeted.
Reese, for her part, doesn’t care if people disliked her actions.
“I’m too hood, I’m too ghetto. Y’all told me that all year. But when other people do it, y’all don’t say nothing. So this is for the girls that look like me.”

“Clark is a hell of a player for sure, but I don’t take disrespect lightly,” Reese said after the outing. “And she disrespected Alexis and South Carolina, they’re still my SEC girls, too. You all are not going to disrespect them either.
“I wanted to pick her pocket. I had a moment at the end of the game, and I was just in my bag.”
The disrespect Reese is referencing there involved a particular defensive scheme employed by Iowa during the Final Four.
Throughout March Madness this year, females have stolen the show in more ways than one. Between the Miami fan who landing in the headlines with her provocative videos this week and the FAU cheerleader who went viral with her wild photos on Friday, it has been one thing after another.
Sunday’s action is just par for the course.

Unlike a lot of her competition, Clark will be back playing college basketball come next season.
That’s when she will have the opportunity to get her revenge.
Will Clark be able to take down LSU next year and right this season’s wrong? Time will tell.
