Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole has had a busy month. Unwittingly, she became linked to the biggest sports story around when her former beau decided to go and start dating Taylor Swift.

As a result of Kelce becoming romantically linked to the biggest pop star in the world, Nicole has had to deal with her fair share of fallout.

Most notably, she lost her best friend over the whole thing. Shortly thereafter, she published an emotional message regarding the entire situation.

So how is Nicole bouncing back? By getting out there and sitting courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers game this week.

Nicole has actually been linked to the NBA in the past. Not long ago, there was some chatter about her and Klay Thompson. Although the Golden State Warriors sharpshooter has since moved on with a new lady, the prospect of him and Nicole hooking up did excite fans for a minute.

Big picture, though – Nicole is seeing her stock rise substantially as well. Maybe not quite for the reason she would have hoped, but it is still rising.

A quick glance at Nicole’s social media shows that she is as popular as ever right now:

Despite Swift’s standing in the general cultural zeitgeist, many believe that Kelce fumbled the bag by choosing her over Nicole.

They view Nicole as the more likable of the two.

Obviously opinions on that will vary, though.

Either way, hopefully Nicole being at this week’s Lakers game is a sign that she is going embrace her newfound singleness to the fullest going forward.
