Grizzlies’ Ja Morant Subject Of Troubling Accusations By Dancers
Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant is facing a lengthy NBA suspension next year over his most recent troubling social media video.
After already running afoul of the league once for posting his gun play content on Instagram, Morant did it again two weeks ago.
Now all parties involved feel as though a heavy punishment is coming.
But that isn’t the only problem facing Morant.
Dancers at an adult establishment known as Shotgun Willie’s made some troubling allegations against him as well.
“Several dancers at Shotgun Willie’s in Glendale, CO.—where Morant went on a two-night binge in March, shelling out at least $50,000 in cash tips before flashing a gun on a live stream video—ripped into the Memphis point guard for his repeatedly brazen behavior,” the New York Post reported.
“He’s clearly begging for attention and trying to be a baller,” a dancer told the publication. “He should be banned from all clubs and get his NBA career taken away given our country’s current circumstances on gun violence.”
Other dancers also don’t seem to believe Morant will change.
“I don’t foresee an apology [anytime] soon,” a dancer told the New York Post. “He’s a boy.”
It will be interesting to see where all parties involved go from here.
Morant appears to be on the verge of losing his Nike deal over his antics, and if he really does get suspended, it could have serious ramifications for the Grizzlies.
After his prior issues, there was hope that Morant would learn from his mistakes. Then he was spotted partying and going wild after Memphis was eliminated from the playoffs, which made fans really sour on him.

Will Morant be able to get his life together, or will he continue to spiral as he has over the past few months?
One way or another, an answer will emerge soon enough.
