Understandably, fans tuning in to the draft at home had some strong takes on the Wembanyama family.

They immediately flocked to Twitter to respond.

Big picture, it will be interesting to see what Victor Wembanyama is ultimately able to do in San Antonio. He is coming in with lofty expectations – but the Spurs’ roster is pretty rough at the moment.

The front office has signaled an openness to improving the talent surrounding Victor Wembanyama, but it will likely be a process.

Currently, San Antonio is one of six teams in the hunt for Kyle Kuzma. But that’s pretty much it as far as big names being linked to the Spurs.

Will Victor Wembanyama be able to lead San Antonio into the playoffs next season? Time will tell, but either way, his sister Eve will be there cheering him on every step of the way.
