The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 103-100 on Wednesday night.
Following the impressive victory, one topic of conversation seems to be trending above all others: how seriously LeBron James hurt his eye during the outing.
With roughly two minutes remaining, James drove to the basket and got eye-poked by Draymond Green.

The eye would continue to bother James for the remainder of the game, and after the fact he told ESPN’s Rachel Nichols how bad it hurt.
“After Draymond’s finger to the eye, I was literally seeing three rims out there,” he said. “I just shot for the middle one.”
For whatever reason, though – some people weren’t buying how seriously James was hurt.
Chief among them: golf influencer Paige Spiranac and Portland Trail Blazers star CJ McCollum.

So was James faking it? This photo says otherwise:
Will that be enough to win over the doubters? Probably not.
This has been a rough year for James. He has been criticized for partying too much at bad times, has dealt with a rough injury and odd messaging around it, survived a terrifying threat from a crazed fan, and received a ton of backlash over one specific tweet.
Will this Warriors win mark the start of new, luckier run for him? Time will tell.
That’s one way to watch a game. https://t.co/rlfZSR4DDe
