The Utah Jazz have made it no secret that they are cleaning house.
Getting rid of Donovan Mitchell to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Rudy Gobert to the Minnesota Timberwolves netted the front office 9 different players, 7 first round draft picks and 3 first round swaps.
With the stars out of the way, Utah can now shift its attention to getting rid of role players like Jordan Clarkson and Bojan Bogdanovic.
One team that has a lot of interest in both guys is the Los Angeles Lakers.
This week, word emerged on what it would take for L.A. to be able to pry them away from the Jazz.
“The second package is Clarkson, Bogdanovic, [Malik] Beasley,” Zach Lowe said on his podcast this week.
“From what I’ve been told around the league, the Jazz feel all three of those guys are worth a first-round pick. If that’s the case, then there’s no deal, that’s out.”
The Lakers’ willingness to part with their future first round picks has been a big storyline this summer. To date, the front office has been unwilling to do so. But it’s unclear how long they can hold out.
This week, a dark horse suitor emerged for a potential Russell Westbrook trade. If that deal comes together, then the Jazz would have likely overplayed their hand. If it doesn’t, though – L.A. may come back to the drawing board.
As things presently stand, there appear to be 5 very legit suitors out there for Clarkson. Similarly, at least two squads have expressed interest in Bogdanovic.

Both the Lakers and Jazz currently have other options.
But if that changes, don’t be surprised if the talks between them intensify over the next few weeks.
