A Memphis Grizzlies fan who Ja Morant gave his jersey to this week caught the attention of NBA fans at home.
On Friday, the Memphis Grizzlies made easy work of the Los Angeles Lakers. With their 127-113 victory, Morant and Co. are now 6-4 in their last 10 games.
Morant, who was suspended for the first 25 outings of the year due to his various misfortunes, is now a candidate for MVP.
In addition to thriving on the court, Morant seems to be doing quite well off it. Everyone knows he got a new girl after dropping the one he stole from Drake. But apparently he didn’t stop there. This exchange largely speaks for itself:

For obvious reasons, fans at home had some strong reactions:

In addition, they also couldn’t help but wonder who the woman speaking with Morant was. Turns out, she is Yaya Ochoa – a pretty big name in the social media influencing space.
She routinely blows up online for posts of this nature:

Big picture, Morant is killing the game right now.
He is guiding Memphis expertly on the court and doing extremely well off it.

There is an argument to be made that getting suspended is the best thing that could have happened to him.
Now everyone knows precisely how valuable Morant truly is to the Grizzlies.
