Did Floyd Mayweather Steal Kyrie Irving’s Mavs Jersey?
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a huge NBA fan and makes it a point to attend many outings.
This past week, he showed up and sat front and center for Kyrie Irving’s first game as a member of the Dallas Mavericks.
Following the win, Irving and Mayweather embraced near the courtside seats.
While they were exchanging words, this happened:

At first glance, it seems like Irving gave Mayweather his jersey – a fairly common practice.
However, upon a second glance, it seems like he didn’t actually do so willingly. Eagle-eyed fans at home caught on immediately. Pay attention at roughly the 10-second mark.

Thus far, neither Irving nor Mayweather has addressed the moment. Time will tell if either side chooses to offer a bit more clarity on what transpired.
Irving generally isn’t one to bite his tongue, though. Whether he is getting brutally honest about the Los Angeles Lakers not trading for him or calling out the Brooklyn Nets for ‘disrespecting’ him, he keeps it pretty real.

If he was genuinely bothered by Mayweather’s move, he probably would have said so.
That said, it will probably be worth keeping an eye on the dynamic both men share in the future whenever it is they publicly meet up next.
