Paul Skenes has quietly emerged over the last few weeks as the hottest young prospect in all of Major League Baseball.
Over the last 30 days the 22-year-old’s stats look like this: 3-0, 2.15 ERA, 10.7 K/9.
Pretty good for a guy who literally just got promoted in May.
This week New York Yankees legend CC Sabathia confirmed that Skenes is the real deal.

“Paul Skenes is the real deal and he’s gonna be a bonafide ace for a very long time,” Sabathia said on Pat McAfee’s show this past week. “He’s been electric and I wanna see him in the All-Star Game.”
In addition to being a stud on the mound, Skenes also has a ton of game off it. He is currently dating LSU star gymnast Olivia Dunne, who recently went viral herself for photos of herself wearing just a thong, an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction and her racy hotel room video.
Plus, that is to say nothing of the intimate photos of Skenes and Dunne where they couldn’t keep their hands off each other.
This week Skenes and Dunne set the internet ablaze once more – this time for an image of Dunne holding Skenes’ pole.
There is an argument to be made that Skenes and Dunne are currently the most powerful couple in all of sports.
Nobody brings as much star power to the table as these two.
It will be interesting to see where they go from here.
