Kate Upton may have hinted at a looming Justin Verlander trade and who his next team might be with a recent outfit choice.
Verlander, 40, is on the trade block despite being in just his first season as a member of the New York Mets. Because of how awful the team has been this year, a fire sale is occurring.
With Max Scherzer and David Robertson already gone, Verlander will likely be the next shoe to drop.
To date, Verlander has been linked to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles and Tampa Bay Rays.
A post by Verlander’s wife, Upton, has been seen by some as a hint about where he might go.

It’s hard to ignore the “blue” reference there and the timing of the post.
The Dodgers are essentially the New York Yankees of the West when it comes to splurging on big talent, so the association there is unsurprising.
This obviously isn’t the first time in recent months that Verlander and Upton have found themselves trending. Between their wild birthday party video, Upton’s memorable beach day pictures and their intimate imagery, the pair has been a mainstay in the news cycle.

Verlander is fresh off his latest win on Sunday – one that saw him allow a single run on five hits, one walk and strike out five over 5.1 innings against the Washington Nationals. He is 4-1 with a 1.49 ERA across his last seven starts and would be a huge pick-up for the Dodgers.
Where will Verlander and Upton ultimately be residing when the MLB Trade Deadline comes and goes? Time will tell.
