Kate Upton celebrated her husband Justin Verlander’s 40th birthday this week in absolute style.
Verlander, the New York Mets’ biggest offseason addition, is coming off a historic campaign. Not only did he win his third career Cy Young, but he also captured a second World Series championship with the Houston Astros.
For his efforts, Verlander earned a 2-year, $86.7 million contract from New York this past summer.
Now with his professional life in about as good a place as it could be, Verlander could focus on what’s most important: celebrating his birthday in epic fashion with Upton.

Reactions to the imagery were overwhelmingly positive.
“You’re too cute,” one person wrote.
“Now lets bring a championship to the Mets,” a second fan added.
“This is how you act when you find your soulmate. I know this because I act the same way,” a third fan noted.
Verlander and Upton have been a permanent fixture in the news cycle in recent months. Between their wild party pictures, memorable Halloween costumes and fun beach day excursions, it has been one thing after another.

But none of those romances feel as real and strong as the one between Verlander and Upton. You can see the love they have for each other every time they are out together.
Verlander had about as good a year as anyone could possibly have with the Astros last season.
Will he be able to replicate the magic with the Mets in 2023? One way or the other, Upton will be there cheering him on every step of the way.
