New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones is coming off an impressive rookie campaign.
One year after Cam Newton’s disastrous run as Bill Belichick’s offensive focal point, Jones came in and provided a path forward for the post-Tom Brady Era.
There is a legitimate and palpable sense of excitement around the Patriots right now. Jones is a winner, and he has shown that both on and off the field.
This week, the former Alabama standout revealed how good things are going for him off the field when photos of him and his girlfriend, Sophie Scott, enjoying a vacation, immediately went viral.

Big picture, Jones and Scott don’t just have fun off the field. She also played an instrumental role in him earning the starting nod over Newton last year.
If she hadn’t done what she did, things might’ve looked very different for both Jones and the Patriots in 2021-22.

The future in New England looks very bright. If Jones continues to build on the momentum from Year 1 and takes some pretty standard steps forward in his sophomore campaign, the AFC East could be very, very competitive.
Will Jones, Scott and the Patriots be able to keep this sweet ride going into 2022-23 and beyond?
