Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has had a rough last few weeks.
First he landed in some hot water over a controversial tweet.
Then he re-injured himself after returning from 20 games missed due to a high ankle sprain. His playing status going forward is questionable.
Fortunately, it hasn’t been all bad for James.
This week, he got a special gift from his good friend and world-renowned rapper Jay-Z.
James posted the unboxing of the gift to social media:

By and large 2021 has been a crazy year for the Lakers star. James survived a terrifying threat from a crazed fan. He has also been involved in some pretty controversial on-the-court plays.

That said, there’s still plenty of turn things around. He can still get healthy and lead the Lakers to a second consecutive NBA championship – presuming the stars align.
Will this gift from Jay-Z mark the beginning of a new lucky streak? Time will tell.
