LeBron James’ recent Drew League appearance thrilled fans and players alike.
The Los Angeles Lakers star hadn’t participated in Drew League festivities since 2011 prior to this, so it was a treat for all involved.
For the most part, James received nothing but positive feedback on his Drew League showing. With one exception.
This week, video emerged that some suggested showed James playing dirty. The clip largely speaks for itself:

This past week’s Drew League festivities left quite the impression. Between James’ play and DeMar DeRozan’s baby mama drama it was full of fireworks on all fronts.
That said, the focus now has to shift on the Lakers’ looming 2022-23 NBA season. All the chatter about how big Bryce has gotten and the weird snacks James brought to summer league are fun, but L.A. needs to get right ahead of next year.

Russell Westbrook continues to be a disaster on all fronts. And according to ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, a deal of some sort involving him is on the horizon. Whether it is going to be the Plan A trade or the Plan B trade is something that’s still up in the air.
Will James and the Lakers be able to get back to their championship form come 2022-23?
Time will tell.
